Therapy is for

Imagine knowing yourself in a completely new way. Imagine feeling good about yourself more often than not. Imagine feeling prepared emotionally to cope with almost any situation this world can throw your way. Imagine letting go of anger or fear and really letting it go. You don’t have to white-knuckle through these waters. You don’t have to stand in front of a mirror saying nice things to yourself. You don’t have to wait for other people to validate you and keep you feeling ok.

Feelings are a by-product of the way you give yourself to a life situation. This is similar to saying “how you think affects how you feel” but goes deeper. How do you give yourself to your life situations? Are you coming from a place of absolute faith in yourself? Do you appreciate your own expertise? If you are like most people, you second guess decisions and blame yourself when things don’t turn out perfectly.

Therapy is for everyone because we ALL give ourselves to life situations…every day. This is vastly different than looking at life as a series of circumstances that happen to us. We have the power to change how we feel because we can change the way we give ourselves. Using up to date methods I will show you how you can increase your life satisfaction in a very noticeable way by changing the way you give yourself to situations. Therapy is the best way to get to the heart of what you really want in your life and feel equipped to get it for yourself.

You may ask, "Isn’t it better for me to solve problems on my own?"

I don’t solve your problems for you. I help you clarify issues so you can solve problems on your own. The goal of therapy is to make you more self-sufficient, not more dependent. Becoming more self-sufficient is directly related to deeper self-understanding, in essence knowing yourself better. THIS is the reason the change lasts. It comes from your deepest, most trusted self, that we will uncover together.

I encourage you to contact me to find out how therapy can work for you in your life.
